What stands out on the Monterra is its massive 4 inch display. Also, its integration with Google Play apps and 3D MapMerge make it one of the best handheld GPS units for advanced software functions.

It has some very advanced, perhaps the most advanced, features in the list of best handheld GPS units; this advanced technology is reflected in its higher price, though. If you spend a considerable amount of time outdoors, especially working in a team, and can afford it: then it is worth it.
